This is the kids at the zoo we visited while in Austin. We were thinking it would be a huge zoo since the saying goes Everything Big Comes From Texas or something like that :), well it was a rescue shelter for animals. It was very small and you could get up close and personal with the animals. We actually witnessed a couple teasing a tiger and they were right up to the fence when the tiger growled and came after them. Thanks goodness for the fence!! At first we were kind of disappointed but the kids had a blast! They had been cooped up in an airplane for the last two hours so they got to run around and use some energy since the zoo wasn't crowded at all. We were really the only people there besides maybe 5 other people. So it all turned out peachy!!
